Position Highlights

This position is based on site at ES3's Layton Engineering Office and supports staff across all ES3 locations, including facilities in San Diego, CA; Warner Robins, GA; Midwest City, OK; Jacksonville, FL; Abilene, TX; and Clearfield, UT.
Required Education and Availability
Demonstrated educational path in IT, Information Systems, or Software Development
Ability to work either morning (6:30-11:30 AM) or afternoon (12:30-5:30 PM), Monday-Friday

# Job Summary:
In this role, you will serve as an Information & Digital (IS&T) Service Center analyst, supporting the Information Technology (IT) Plan for all Sentinel sites, but based in the Sentinel project office in Ogden, UT. The assignment includes the implementation of information technology systems and services in coordination with Sentinel project and NS&E requirements. Provides comprehensive automation support and coordination to the project end users. # Major Responsibilities:

The IT Support Technician provides first-level support for hardware, software, printing, networking, telephony, and other peripheral devices. Perform COMSEC account/equipment management activities.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2012R2 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2016, Microsoft Windows 7/10 operating systems (OS) administration and associated hardware.
Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies to include communication security (COMSEC) integration.
Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework, SCI Information Systems Security Standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to Assessment and Authorizations.
Working knowledge and current relevant experience with PL2 systems; experience with PL3 & PL4 cross domain solutions is desired
Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience:
5+ years related experience.
SAP experience required.
Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or Information Technology/Information Assurance Specialists.
Education:
Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree in a related area + 2 years' experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
Certifications:
IAT or IAM Level II - within 6 months of hire (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, SSCP, CySA+ etc.).
Clearance Required to Start:
TS/SCI required.

The likely salary range for this position is $92,735 - $125,465. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Duties: This position requires extensive hands-on interaction with faculty and staff. As a result, this position requires physical presence to complete the essential duties found below.
Assist in providing computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by users. Train employees on both software and hardware as needed
Maintain adequate knowledge of operating systems and application software to provide high levels of support to users. In particular this position will help with the installation, maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of CAE Healthcare simulation software
Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones
Add and maintain users on the network; assigning application access, ensuring security
Install, maintain, configure, server software and hardware
Assist in installation of workstations and other hardware on the network
Identify privacy and security concerns, implement security technologies
Participate in department meetings, providing input and suggestions
Assist in gathering bid prices on equipment and supplies as needed
Provide written documentation
Utilize technology to provide staff with a fast, accurate, and secure method of gaining access to information so they can service the member in the fastest and most efficient manner possible
Keep up to date in industry trends and technologies. Testing new technologies
Monitor network traffic and make recommendations accordingly
Ability to lift and transport computer equipment such as desktops, monitors, printers, and other hardware (up to 60 lbs.)
Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, climbing ladders, or reaching in tight spaces for cable management or hardware installation.
Carry out other such duties as may be assigned or requested
Skills and qualifications:
IT Certificate or degree, plus two years' experience in computer and software networks; or equivalent education/experience in the information technology field
A+ and Net+ certification preferred, security+ welcomed
Some EntraID, VMWare experience is a plus
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies
Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening
Great customer service and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude
