Successful completion of course work required to remain in property role. * Investigate, negotiate, and settle assigned claims. * Maintain activity log on actions taken on each file and maintain diary system. * Settle claims within authorized limits. * Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers by providing excellent customer service. * Performs onsite and virtual inspection of damages to resolve coverage and damage issues to include preparing complete estimates of repair for the covered damages. * Active member of catastrophe team, which may include overnight travel on short notice for what could be extended periods of time, in order to investigate, negotiate and settle assigned claims. * This position requires the individual to access and inspect all areas of a building or structure which is physically demanding and requires the ability to carry, set up and climb a ladder. Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs., walk on roofs, and enter tight spaces (such as attic staircases and entries, crawl spaces, etc.). * Operates and maintains company vehicle. Develop a written plan of intervention, treatment and services identifying goals and objectives of treatment, treatment strategy, a schedule for accomplishing treatment goals and objectives, and the individual or individuals responsible for providing treatment to the person. Perform planned and structured treatment (individual, family and/or group psychotherapy) based on client's diagnosis. Assist in the coordination of therapeutic services with other Center staff, including consulting with on-staff psychiatric prescribers. Consult in a timely manner with other professionals or agencies concerning clients referred to or from the Center as well as mutual clients. Participate in the required multi-disciplinary team meetings and clinical supervision. Provide case or program consultation to health care and human service professionals and agencies. Participate in efforts to coordinate agency and community resources. Participate in conferences, seminars, or other educational activities based on the annual staff development plan and as needed to be in good standing with state licensure requirements. Provide training to in-house staff, share approved and legal video/audio tapes of sessions with clients for intra-agency training or as requested by the Clinical Director. Our current campaigns focus on: Stopping harmful tax handouts to billionaire tech and energy developers Protecting clean water and community health across Minnesota Reducing waste and toxic pollution through producer accountability, not consumer responsibility Job Description This PAID internship offers students and early-career organizers the opportunity to develop real-world skills in canvassing, fundraising, and community mobilization. You'll work alongside experienced staff to: Engage Minnesotans in campaigns protecting clean water and community health Recruit supporters and raise funds for grassroots advocacy Collect postcards, letters, and calls to lawmakers to advance environmental and corporate accountability policies Responsibilities: Canvass door-to-door to inform and inspire the public about environmental and social justice campaigns Recruit and mobilize supporters and new Clean Water Action members Fundraise to sustain grassroots advocacy work Collect postcards, letters, and calls to lawmakers to advance our progressive policy goals Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive, motivated team Full paid training in canvassing and campaign issues is provided. No prior experience required. Qualifications Interest in nonprofit organizing, environmental advocacy, or public policy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Ideal candidates enjoy connecting with people as part of their daily work and are motivated to make real change on these issues.
