Job Description: About the Role: * Food production environment * Proper PPE required on production floor at all times * Due to the nature of the Union Contract, production employees are not hired into specific shifts and may be required to work first, second or third shift * Job positions are assigned based on the Union's job bid process * 10-hour shifts ranging from four to six shifts per week * Starting pay of $20.10 per hour * .30/hour shift premium for 2nd shift * .40/hour shift premium for 3rd shift Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (List all required): * Able to walk/stand for the duration of a 10-hour shift and be able to twist, bend, stoop and reach. * Able to climb stairs, ladders, equipment scaffolding, tanks and heights to 50 feet. * Able to lift/push/pull objects up to 35 pounds per normal 10-hour shift * Able to push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds to chest level up to 100 times per normal 10-hour shift using material handling equipment. * Able to hold, grip, and use tools required for duties, including but not limited to a knife. * Able to hear and talk on an ongoing basis in an atmosphere of moderate to loud noise. * Able to work in and around cold water or hot water up to 185°F. * Able to work in cold, warm, hot, humid and/or wet conditions.
