As a Court Operations Associate, you will work both independently and collaboratively, using sound judgment and available resources to complete a wide range of administrative and courtroom tasks. WHAT YOU WILL DO The Court Operations Associate performs a variety of administrative, courtroom, and customer service functions to support efficient court operations. Core responsibilities include: * Independently performs administrative and case processing work across one or more case types, including criminal, juvenile, traffic, probate, jury, conciliation, civil, and/or family. Utilizes court technology systems such as the Minnesota Court Information System (MNCIS), Microsoft Office, electronic File and Serve (eFS), SharePoint, and other related platforms. * Provides in-person courtroom support by collaborating with judges, court reporters, and justice partners. Responsibilities include calling cases, capturing minutes, processing exhibits, and managing courtroom documents. * Assists attorneys, self-represented litigants, judges, and the public by responding to inquiries in person, over the phone, by mail, and electronically in a timely and professional manner. * Schedules and maintains court calendars for an assigned judge, including coordinating hearing dates with parties, sending required notices, and processing routine orders. * Performs a variety of advanced clerical and case processing tasks in compliance with court rules, policies, and procedures. * Prepares, scans, indexes, and maintains legal documents and case records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and proper data entry. * Supports case flow management by monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely progression of cases. * May serve as an Electronic Recording Equipment Operator (EREO), including setting up, testing, and monitoring digital recording equipment during court proceedings. * Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion when handling sensitive case information. * Participates actively in team meetings, cross-training, and continuing education opportunities to maintain current knowledge of court processes and best practices. * Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The Minnesota Judicial Branch recognizes the diverse set of skills, strengths, and attributes that an individual may bring into a role. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION * This AFSCME-represented position is located in the Anoka County Courthouse at 2100 3rd Ave. Anoka, MN 55303 * Work is performed primarily in an office-setting, a public counter and/or in a courtroom. * The expected hiring range for external hires for this position is $22.50 to $28.45/hr, based on qualifications, with a full future earning potential of $46,980- $73,999 annually. * This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. * Core business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Join the St. Cloud Rox for the summer to gain a behind-the-scenes experience like no other. You'll learn the ins and outs of a sport organization within the Northwoods League. The Northwoods League has over 400 alumni who have gone on to play Major League Baseball. The Rox are a leader in fan support and community engagement along with consistently creating a ballpark environment that is incredibly entertaining for fans. Interns will support specific departments throughout the season. The position will include event day duties and some non-game day events as well. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with the ability to work in a team environment, have an eagerness to learn, and possess the flexibility to adapt to what each day brings. This position starts in mid/late May and lasts through mid-August. Reports to: Assistant General Manager RESPONSIBILITIES Leads the setup of the ballpark for each game day. This includes but is not limited to setting up tables, chairs, flags, beverage coolers, signage & tents. Assists in coordinating and placing ballpark deliveries (promotional & concession items). Assists in setup of merchandise area prior to the game so it is ready for sales. Directs quality control such as making sure seats and walkways are clean prior to gates opening and after.
