In conjunction with marketing, develop and continuously improve marketing materials that will educate users on biosolids benefits and use.

Attend biosolids and agriculture-related conferences.
Grow and develop the Bay State Fertilizer bag distribution program.
Regulatory
In conjunction with the Environmental Compliance Department, ensure product distribution activities maintain compliance with fertilizer regulation and land application permits and all applicable state and federal laws.
Understand state-by-state differences in biosolids regulations and provide regulatory support to plants as needed.
Assist in developing regulatory strategies to optimize product placement and value.
Monitor and understand regulatory trends such as PFAS, phosphorus limitations, micro- contaminants, and personal care products and their potential impact on product marketing.
As needed, be involved with national, regional and local organizations to positively influence laws and regulatory decisions around biosolids and fertilizers.
Qualifications
Required knowledge and experience in the use and recycling of biosolids.
Prior experience (including life experience) in an agricultural environment will be considered favorably.
Associate's degree in Soil Science or Agronomy or comparable, or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
Certification in one or more of: crop advisory, agronomy, soil science, nutrient management planning, or allied disciplines considered a plus.
Sales experience is desired.
Netsuite experience a plus but not required.
Willingness to learn nuances of various federal, state, and local regulations controlling fertilizer sales and distribution.
