Sales/marketing job in Reno, NV
Are you passionate about turning customer outcomes into compelling stories that influence pipeline and product strategy? Do you thrive building programs that mobilize champions across reviews, references, and community? Do you love partnering with Sales, Customer Experience, and Product Marketing to turn adoption signals and value delivered into lifecycle plays and expansion? If so, we invite you to join our innovative team.
As the Customer Marketing Lead, you'll stand up and scale reference and advocacy programs that power sales cycles, analyst relations, PR, and events. You'll build deep long term relationships with customers, following their experience with Ridgeline as it unfolds, capturing and documenting value stories and success metrics in real time. You'll operationalize how we build and support our customer champions, match references, and activate advocates-and you'll map our customer-focused content engine (stories, videos, webinars) to our target market & and target personas. You'll leverage AI-enabled tooling to accelerate discovery, content development, and measurement as you drive programs from advocacy and references to adoption/utilization through to cross-sell plays.
In our fast-paced, progressive work environment, you'll translate customer outcomes into value-oriented narratives that inspire new customers to join the growing Ridgeline community. You'll partner across the team to ideate campaigns, architect community and review motions, and deliver customer stories that unlock late-stage deals-directly shaping pipeline and market perception.
You'll collaborate with teams that welcome AI-enabled workflows, partnering across Sales, CS, PMM, AR/PR, and Events to match references, engage speaker advocates, and amplify proof at key moments. You'll think outside the box, bringing your vision, passion, and operational rigor to build repeatable engines-helping drive our culture and influence the trajectory of an ambitious fintech transforming an investment management industry primed for change.
At Ridgeline, how we work matters as much as what we build. Ridgeliners act like owners, choose growth over comfort, and communicate with transparency. We assume positive intent, bias toward action, and bring solutions-not just problems. We celebrate wins, learn from setbacks, and thrive in a resilient, collaborative, high-performing culture. If the Ridgeline Way excites you, we'd love to meet you.
You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
The impact you will have:
Design and lead a customer storytelling program that uncovers data-driven proof points and hero success metrics, turning Ridgeline's value to our customers into compelling narratives that reinforce market positioning and measurable business impact.
Create and maintain a repository of reusable customer proof assets (quotes, call clips, win wires, micro-case-studies) organized by segment, use case, and persona.
Partner with Customer Success and Product Marketing to track adoption/utilization signals and launch lifecycle campaigns that activate champions and surface expansion moments.
Establish value proof motions in partnership with Value Engineering (lightweight outcomes narratives, ROI snapshots) to support advocacy content and late-stage deals.
Stand up and run a scalable customer reference program (recruitment, qualification, matching, SLAs) that powers sales cycles, analyst relations, PR, and events.
Partner on building and leading an advocacy community (customer councils, speaker bureau, reviews) with a content calendar across stories, videos, and webinars mapped to ICP/personas.
Own program operations: reference database hygiene, consent/workflows, and measurement spanning references fulfilled, review volume/ratings, sourced and influenced pipeline, content usage, and adoption/utilization lift.
Systematize intake and requests from Sales/AR/PR/Events; set SLAs, build routing logic, and publish status dashboards.
Drive review strategy (G2, Gartner Peer Insights, PeerSpot): run outreach, incentives (as appropriate), and response management; monitor share of voice and ratings trends.
Partner cross-functionally to embed advocacy signals into GTM motions (deal reviews, ABM plays, competitive takeouts) and post-sale onboarding/adoption workflows.
Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way
Contribute to a collaborative environment rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency
What we look for:
5-8 years in B2B SaaS customer marketing/advocacy/storytelling roles, with experience building programs at enterprise scale.
Has a documentary-style instinct for timing-seeing the arc before it unfolds and begin capturing stories now that will define our future success.
Builds customer relationships through empathy and a journalistic curiosity, uncovering the human and data-driven angles that turn outcomes into powerful narratives.
Demonstrated revenue impact from advocacy/reference engines and review/community strategies (e.g., G2, Gartner Peer Insights, PeerSpot).
Strong cross-functional leadership with Sales, CS, AR/PR, and Product; excellent storytelling and executive-ready communication.
Proven ability to operationalize programs: intake models, consent workflows, reference matching logic, and metric frameworks tied to pipeline, adoption, and utilization.

Outside Sales Executive, Contracts - Northern Nevada
Sales/marketing job in Carson City, NV
Job Description
$120K+ On-Target Earnings | $50K Base + Uncapped Commission | Pure Hunter Role
City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a relentless B2B sales hunter to develop new janitorial contract business across Northern Nevada. This is pure new business development-you prospect your assigned territory, qualify leads, present solutions, close contracts, and immediately hand off to our operations team.
Your Territory. Your Revenue. Your Success.
You'll own a defined set of zip codes across Reno, Carson City, and Northern Nevada. Every dollar of contract revenue that comes from your territory is yours. You're not competing with other sales reps-you own your market and control your income potential.
The Model:
You generate your own leads through cold outreach, door-to-door field visits, strategic networking, and systematically working your geographic territory. You close commercial janitorial contracts with building owners and property managers. Once signed, our Facility Solutions Managers take over the relationship-you move on to the next prospect.
City Wide is a management company that coordinates all facility services for our clients. You're selling a proven system backed by 60+ years of success and almost $1B in systemwide revenue-without managing crews, equipment, or operational problems.
The Northern Nevada Opportunity:
Reno and Carson City's commercial markets are expanding rapidly. Tech companies, distribution centers, healthcare facilities, professional offices, and gaming properties create consistent demand for commercial janitorial services. You'll represent the largest management company in the building maintenance industry with exclusive territory ownership.
Compensation:
On-Target Earnings of $120,000+ annually for hitting performance goals. You'll earn a $50,000 base salary plus uncapped commission on every contract you close. Top performers exceed OTE by 20-40% because recurring revenue contracts mean the business you close today continues generating commission tomorrow.
Monthly Performance Targets:
Close $5,000+ in new monthly contract revenue ($60K annual contract value)
Complete 120+ field visits working your territory
Have 120+ decision-maker conversations
Set 10+ qualified appointments
Deliver $15,000+ in proposals (targeting 33% close rate)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own and Work Your Territory
Strategically prospect your assigned zip codes across Northern Nevada
Identify and target commercial buildings 10,000-100,000 square feet
Generate your own leads through cold calling, door-knocking, and systematic territory coverage
Research decision-makers and create opportunities where none existed
Deliver Consultative Sales Process
Walk commercial facilities with decision-makers to assess janitorial needs
Identify pain points with current service providers
Present City Wide's management model as a comprehensive solution
Conduct building surveys and deliver customized proposals
Close New Business Consistently
Close $5,000+ in new monthly contract revenue each month (Year 1 goal)
Deliver $15,000+ in proposals monthly to achieve 33%+ close rate
Negotiate contracts and overcome objections to win business
Achieve average contract size of $2,000+ monthly value
Leverage Company Systems and Support
Use City Wide's proven proposal system and pricing tools
Maintain accurate CRM records of all activities, pipeline, and closed deals
Participate in sales training and coaching to refine your approach
Collaborate with operations team for seamless post-sale handoff
Never Stop-Stay Solution-Oriented
Problem-solve creatively when facing objections or competition
Find alternative angles when prospects initially decline
Persist until you reach your goals-nothing stops you
Maintain resilience through rejection and competitive pressure
Requirements
Must-Haves:
5-10 years B2B outside sales experience with documented track record consistently meeting or exceeding quotas
Proven hunter mentality-you generate your own leads and thrive on prospecting
Geographic territory sales experience-you know how to systematically work an assigned area and maximize market penetration
Solution-oriented mindset-you don't accept "no" as final and never let obstacles stop you from reaching goals
High-activity tolerance-20+ field visits monthly and relentless prospecting feels energizing, not exhausting
Documented closing ability in competitive B2B sales environments
Self-motivated and competitive-commission potential drives you more than base salary
Strong communication skills to engage with property managers, building owners, and facility directors
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation for daily territory coverage
Comfortable with accountability-CRM usage, activity tracking, and transparent performance metrics
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience selling services (vs. products)-understanding recurring revenue contracts is valuable
CRM proficiency for pipeline management and activity tracking
Sales training certification (Sandler, Dale Carnegie, etc.)
Bachelor's degree
What We're NOT Looking For:
People who need warm leads handed to them
Account managers who prefer nurturing existing relationships over hunting new business
Sales professionals uncomfortable with high prospecting activity requirements
Anyone who sees cold calling and door-knocking as beneath them
Candidates who need constant direction or hand-holding
Benefits
Compensation Structure:
Base Salary: $50,000 annually
On-Target Earnings: $120,000+ for hitting performance goals
Uncapped Commission: Tiered structure rewards high performance-top performers earn $140K-$170K+
Recurring Revenue Model: Contracts you close generate ongoing commission as they renew monthly
Ramp Timeline: 4-month pipeline building period before full quota expectations
Benefits Package:
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) retirement plan with company match
Paid time off and holidays
Vehicle allowance for territory coverage
Laptop, phone, and sales tools provided
Support & Resources:
Extensive training on City Wide's sales process, proposal system, and competitive positioning
Corporate support for contract pricing and strategic guidance
Sales management coaching to help you refine your approach
Proven 60-year methodology for winning janitorial contracts
