**Position Overview:**
The Director of Field Strategy and Operations serves as the orchestrator of field strategy, ensuring that prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and execution are effectively aligned with brand strategy and enterprise objectives. This role provides leadership across multiple regions, enabling a holistic, enterprise-wide approach to field strategy and operational excellence.
This role also partners closely with the Business Analysis team to ensure field teams have access to standardized dashboards and data-driven insights, supporting execution excellence and performance tracking. The Director will be the point of contacts for ad hoc analytics requests, ensuring field teams have the right data to make informed decisions, but will not be creating these reports themselves or with their team and will work with Business Analysis to ensure accurate measurement and proper data is used.

+ **Team Development & Analytics Training:** Mentor team members on business reviews, reporting systems, and analytics interpretation, working with Business Analysis to enhance field intelligence capabilities.
+ **Compliance Management:** Must comply with all state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals as well as complying with all OAPI standards and policies relating to all job activities.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
+ Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience, with a strong understanding of sales force operations and execution.
+ Prior experience in field leadership roles such as first- or second-line leadership, regional operational and customer strategy roles or other field-based support roles required.
+ Established expertise in business analytics, business operations, sales support, and resource management within a commercial pharmaceutical organization.

Department Office of Digital Learning & Academic Technology Responsibilities Serves as the primary supervisor of the testing team. Delegates responsibilities as appropriate to the testing supervisors. Answers questions and addresses concerns from students and staff, guiding them with kindness and clarity. Competently navigates any crises that occur, tending to both the needs of the students and the staff. Supervises proctors during extended hours as needed. Ensures the testing center is adequately staffed at all times. Vets, interviews, and recruits proctors. Coordinates recruitment, training, and scheduling of guest proctors during peak times. Maintains the staff schedule. Carefully reviews leave requests and coverage needs. Reviews and approves staff timesheets every two weeks, identifying and addressing any attendance issues that arise.
Ensures the team meets high service and test security standards. Develops staff policies, procedures, and service benchmarks in coordination with the other testing managers. Oversees and upkeep the proctor training and onboarding program, thoroughly training the staff. Regularly acquires feedback from staff and students to improve test security, customer satisfaction, and staff satisfaction (in that order).
Cultivates a positive, professional, productive work environment. Arranges professional development and team building events for the staff. Finds creative ways to keep the staff engaged with their jobs and focused on the organization's mission and commitments. Regularly checks in with staff 1-on-1 to better understand and meet their needs. When needed, coaches, reminds, and corrects testing staff in consultation with the Assistant Director and Human Resources.
Maintains the facility. Routinely inspects the facility and equipment for optimal performance. Works closely with the ODL Office Manager and/or Facilities team to address building and grounds issues. Proactively inventories and requests needed supplies ahead of time. Consults with technical staff to ensure all software is working properly. Evaluates and improves signage, printed resources, and digital resources in consultation with the Assistant Director and other testing managers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years' experience related to academic and/or student services or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has an open position that is responsible for executing the following functions:
The incumbent is responsible for adopting and maintaining coordinated programmatic, administrative and fiscal policies and standards for all Early Learning Programs, while allowing a wide range of programmatic flexibility and differentiation.
* The incumbent is responsible for the finance and operations of Florida's early learning programs: Child Care Resource and Referral, School Readiness, Gold Seal Quality Care Program and Voluntary Prekindergarten in Florida.
* The incumbent is expected to demonstrate, model, and reinforce the agency's fundamental values of quality, fairness, cooperation, respect, commitment, excellence, honesty and teamwork.

* This incumbent must complete timesheets by the 5th business day of the following month in the People First System. This incumbent has the authority to make hiring recommendations as well as disciplinary recommendations.
* Analyzing current programmatic, administrative and fiscal policies and developing policy options or operational strategies to improve the Early Learning System in Florida.
* Serves as the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) fiscal contract for Florida's Division of Early Learning, provide representation for the Division at Federal Meetings and Conferences.
* Key Liaison with Early Learning Coalitions including bi-weekly communications.
* Coordination with Oversight Entities.
* Other duties as assigned.
