The purpose of the Senior Travel Specialist position is to perform auditing and accounting of travel related documents for a centralized travel office. This position will also play a part in implementing Concur and being a point of contact for Concur issues that arise on campus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Research, verify, and evaluate BTE, EBTA, Payroll, and Travel Leader's Accounts.
2. Execute and process travel card transactions within Concur and Banner.
3. Monitor and maintain travel outstanding balances report.
4. Liaison for Concur issues and resolutions.
5. Execute and evaluate all EBTA transactions, payroll deductions, NSF travel documents.
6. Monitor compliance of MSU travel policy and state of Mississippi guidelines.
7. Research and approve all travel documents and process correcting journal vouchers for keying errors.
8. Maintain Concur help desk and reports within Concur.
9. Regularly communicate with the departments, travelers, travel agency.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree
