    Job Summary The mission of Clark County Jail Services is to promote and maintain public safety through effective correctional and reentry practices. The purpose of the Clark County Jail Programs Unit is to provide services to people incarcerated in Clark County Jail including Reentry, Jail Transition Coordination and Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) with the goal of stabilizing social determinants of health, increasing desistance behaviors and reducing recidivism. This position will not begin until 2026 and is subject to final approval of grant funding. The Lead Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) Jail Transition Coordinator provides supervision to a team of MOUD Jail Transition Coordinators (JTCs) tasked with direct case management services to incarcerated people receiving MOUD or on the waitlist for MOUD in Clark County Jail with the goal of connecting people to community-based MOUD, substance abuse and/or mental health treatment, housing, peer support, health care, basic needs and more prior to release. Incarcerated people are triaged into case management services based on vulnerability factors such as homelessness, age, gender, mental health, substance use and medical needs and other factors including lack of connection to current service providers. The Lead MOUD Jail Transition Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the MOUD JTC team effectively triages incarcerated individuals, assesses individual needs and barriers, develops collaborative release plans, and provides collaborative case management. The Lead MOUD Jail Transition Coordinator is a liaison to community organizations with positions collocated with the MOUD Program as well as internal and external stakeholders, groups and committees. The position works closely with corrections officers, civilians, co-located community partners, jail medical and mental health staff and community partner organizations. A high level of self-direction, organization and work efficiency is a requirement for this classification. The position is exempt, non-represented and may require periodic non-traditional work hours. Closing Date: Open until filled. First review on December 19, 2025.Qualifications Master's degree in social work, counseling, mental health, behavioral sciences, or a related field from an accredited institution is required plus at least two (2) years of experience working with people with legal system involvement OR Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, mental health, behavioral sciences, or a related field plus at least five (5) years of experience working with people with legal system involvement Proof of credentials will be required The degree must have been conferred by an institution of higher education and have National Recognition of Accrediting Agencies by the U.S. Secretary of Education, and official transcripts will be required at the time of hire. Licensure in the State of Washington in compliance with WAC 246-809 as a counseling professional highly preferred, but candidates who currently are registered as Agency Affiliated Counselors in Washington may be considered for the position if eligible for licensure. Schedule & Compensation Part-Time Position (25 hours a week) Hours: M-F 7:30am-1:30pm Pay: $16.00-16.75/hour. Job Description Packs meals and arranges for delivery of meals to eligible clients by assessing each individual requesting services. Maintains financial records and updates client information as necessary. Records daily, weekly, and monthly meal counts. Schedules volunteers and finds replacements as necessary. Provides direction and oversight of the Meals on Wheels volunteer program and recruits appropriate volunteers based upon identified needs. Attends or acquires representation for required United Way meetings. Qualifications Requires a high school diploma, GED equivalency. Valid Driver's License.
