Job DescriptionDISTRICT MANAGER Reports To: Director of Operations Summary The District Manager is responsible for increasing sales and profits through financial management and leadership practices. Ensure at least one restaurant in the district is a Training Restaurant with a Restaurant Trainer. They are also responsible for working with the Director of Training and Field Training Manager to ensure all Shift Responsible Personnel are Serve Safe and Foundations Shift Certified.
Responds immediately to all priority calls and closes out priority calls once the customer complaint or issue has been resolved. Must monitor the call volume for each area and determine if any appropriate discipline action needs to be taken.
Responsible for management staffing, retention and turnover. Forecasts management staffing needs. Conducts performance development review on restaurant management team. Identifies and evaluates and responds to labor efficiency problems. Ensures all hiring policies are followed and adhered to (i.e., background check, drug testing, etc.).
Monitors Internal Audit Controls within each restaurant on a frequent basis. Ensures accidents and incidents are reported to Risk Management in a timely manner. Monitors procedures for resolving Health Department violations, ensures compliance with company cash control, and safety and security policy.
Accurately and consistently documents performance appropriately by using the performance counseling process. Conducts investigations as required for cash control, harassment or any unfair employment practices. Coach's restaurant management for improved performance. Conduct monthly meetings with management team for the purpose of planning, training and operations review.
Implement Marketing Programs and maintain awareness of the competition.

BASIC PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to assist in the daily operations of a thrift store retail outlet, customer service, cash handling, stocking.
All incumbents accepted for the position of Thrift Store Clerk will also be trained for the position of Sorter and will interchange positions as needed.
Primary responsibility is to create and maintain a friendly, inviting, clean and professional atmosphere that encourages customers to want to frequently return The Salvation Army to make purchases.
The manager is expected to be proficient in customer service, personnel, merchandising, and administrative duties to be an exceptionally responsible person. The ultimate test of a manager's success is sales that are steadily increasing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cash Register/POS system
Cash handling opening and closing procedures
Great customer service (friendly, polite, and helpful attitude)
Keep clothing racks stocked, neat, and orderly.
Stock household and other miscellaneous items
Stock shoes, purses, belts, hats, books.
Keep aisles clean, clear, and picked-up
Keep shelves clean, orderly and stocked.
Participate in general store housekeeping (i.e. vacuuming, sweeping, and general cleaning)
Remove merchandise according to policy
Process merchandise/donations upon request
Help accept donations upon request.

PERSONNEL
Responsible to assist Director of Production & Retail or the Corps Officer(s)
Interviewing of new applicants
Annual review and performance evaluation
Maintaining written records of employee incidents, positive and negative feedback and discussions pertaining to job performance or corrective actions
Reporting all disciplinary matters up to and including termination
Orientation and training of new personnel
Scheduling of personnel work schedule
Timecard submission checking for accuracy.
Instruction and supervision of employees, volunteers assigned to the thrift store according the TSA policy and procedure regarding job related duties.
Enforce dress code.
Orientate and supervise employees from community work programs and volunteers assigned to your store.
Supervise truck driver's activities in store. Make sure their time schedule is kept. Make sure all merchandise is being handled in appropriate manner, reporting breakage or improper loading/unloading/transporting issues.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Responsible to monitor and control the quality and preferences of merchandise for the customer/demographics.
Responsible for the effective displaying of all store merchandise
Clothing racks, furniture, glassware, etc.
Window and wall displays
Maintain a fully stocked and balanced inventory on the floor racks as well as a reserve in the stock-room/area. Fully stocked = 1” between hangers with no empty spaces.
Coordinate the “mark-down” and “pulling” procedures of merchandise on a daily basis according to guidelines set by the administration.
Adjust length of “mark down” and ”pulling” procedure within guidelines to meet fluctuations in inventory volume. Insure inventory is not pulled unties there is adequate back-up stock to keep floor racks full.
Coordinate “specials” with processing department within guidelines set by Administration.
Education Requirements: GED or High School Graduate
Skills: Handling and counting cash with accuracy; knowledge of current clothing trends and styles; merchandising skills, strong customer service skills;
To be successful in this position, the incumbent must stay busy while on the work floor. Sections of the store will be assigned to each clerk for responsibility of stocking, cleanliness, rag-out procedures, and busy work habits. You will be evaluated for your job performance.
It is expected of every employee to be familiar with The Salvation Army Western Territory Handbook for Employees. Questions regarding any portions not understood should be directed to your direct supervisor.
All employees, both full and part time will be present at scheduled employee meetings as part of their work responsibilities. Full compensation for those who are off on meeting days will be given for the length of the meeting. Reasons for non-attendance must be approved by the administration.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally up to 35lbs with help.
90% of the time spent working will be standing, lifting, bending, walking, and reaching.

Role Summary:
Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre. They ensure policies and procedures are being followed and operational standards are achieved. They are cross trained in all departments to support where needed, and to provide inspirational training to all Employees. The Assistant Manager can become a Senior Assistant Manager followed by Theatre Manager or GeneralManager after finishing the Management Accreditation Program and working for a minimum of six months.
Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities of an Assistant Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
Follows the direction of the GeneralManager
Supports GeneralManager's decisions in communication with the staff
Responsible for working in all departments and all theatre job functions
Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions
Assists in the preparation of administrative and special reports for the GeneralManager
Observes and participates in the inspection of the theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, Cinemark property, roof and exterior signage, and equipment condition
Reports the need for building, property, and equipment repairs to GeneralManager
Ensures that theatre Team Members follow the dress code
Interacts with Guests for improved service in the theatre and ensures that Team Members are providing superior Customer service
Learns and follows the policies and procedures as established in Cinemark's Guidelines. Enforces these with all Team Members fairly and consistently
Reports all Employee relations issues to the GeneralManager (In the absence of the GM, management should report Employee relations issues to *******************

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred
Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core) within Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program
Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
Management members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program
Availability to work flexible hours which include evenings, weekends, and holidays
