This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you.
Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Service Management
+ The CCS shall maintain current certification as a Certified Cloud Security Professional. Possesses the ability to work independently with substantial cloud computing security knowledge.
+ The assessor must have the essential skillsets to identify, manage and resolve cloud computing security risk and implement "best practices" as applied within a cloud environment (across all of the different deployment and service models, and derivatives).

Job Purpose
The Field Technical Manager (FTM) role supports the Powersports dealer network to establish Honda brand value, customer and dealer satisfaction. These positions will be based either from ASX office or from associate's home depending on assignment. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing returns on warranted parts and systems
Packaging and shipping replacement parts to customers
Maintaining standard software configurations, including troubleshooting, loading and configuring software images, supported applications and drivers
May participate in development of information technology and infrastructure projects
Installing, supporting and troubleshooting approved desktop software
Performing planned maintenance, moves, adds and changes
Provide support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptops, PDA or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access (VPN)
Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of the customers to appropriate technical personnel
Exercises judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Creating and maintaining images for standard systems
Recommends hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
