Responsibilities Responsible for specifying, installing, configuring, tracking and maintaining operating system workstations and peripherals Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages Performs Software License Manager Duties for processing equipment. Plans, Schedules and performs installations and upgrades and maintains systems in accordance with established IT policies and procedures Responsible for conducting routine hardware and software audits of workstations to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentatio Troubleshoot computer hardware, software or network. Install new software on user's computers Clean, upgrade and repair computer hardware including monitors, keyboards and printers Provide timely customer service in response to phone calls or emails for issues related to Air Force and Company systems Document receipt of all calls and request in the Government approved case tracking system, log details of the situation, and determine the severity of the problem. Provide status as required Furnish users with routine information, such as how-to tutorial and information after system or software changes Dispatch or route problems to appropriate resources and continue to track issues/problems through resolution Analyze trouble tickets to determine trends, issues and develop preventative measures Must maintain an active IAT Level 2 or higher cyber security certification Performs computer and peripheral equipment tracking and inventories. Performs other duties and related tasks within their classification as assigned by Supervisors Minimum Education and Experience Required Secret security clearance is required. Applicants selected must be a US Citizen in order to apply for a Secret Security Clearance Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment IAT Level 2 or higher cyber security certification. (i.e. Security +) IT related Associate degree and at least 6 years of computer support related experience, preferably customer support role. Management may allow additional years of work experience to be substituted for degree. Additional Responsibilities Work week may shift to other days due to mission requirements.
