The Melt Bay TechnicalSpecialist is responsible for leading and optimizing the melt bay operations within the cast house, with a strategic focus on the efficient use of aluminum scrap metal. This role drives profitability by improving scrap utilization, reducing inventory levels, and implementing best practices across melt operations. This role will oversee, coach, and train hourly employees to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality casting processes.
Basic Qualifications:
GED or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of experience in aluminum casting or melt operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of aluminum scrap types, melt practices, and casting processes.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach teams.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
