Responsibilities
As an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC), you may:
Maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment.
Operate, maintain, and repair fire control radars, mainframe computers, large screen displays, LANs, weapon control consoles, and automatic gun systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems used in weapons systems.
Support combat systems readiness aboard aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers, and other surface ships.
Work Environment

SupportSpecialists at Rod's House provide a safe, stable, and structured environment for young people ages 13-17 experiencing homelessness throughout Yakima County. The Lead SupportSpecialist plays a critical role in guiding youth from temporary shelter toward long-term stability and permanent housing while supporting daily operations, staff coordination, and program consistency in alignment with Rod's House policies and mission.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership
Maintain and update the training binder to ensure all shelter staff complete a minimum of 26 hours of required annual training.
Serve in a leadership and decision-making capacity when the Program Manager is unavailable.
Be available for on-call coverage when needed due to staff call-outs.
Support the Program Manager with daily programming and operations.
Collaborate with site staff including the Program Manager, Behavioral Health Specialist, and Case Manager to meet the needs of youth.
Update program signage and youth manuals as needed.
Relationship Building and Problem Solving
Build respectful, supportive relationships with youth to foster safety and trust.
Work collaboratively with the Case Manager, Behavioral Health Specialist, and Program Manager to support individual youth needs.

Job Title: Technology Coordinator Work Hours: 8 hours per day (Monday - Friday) Reports to: Superintendent Primary Function The Information Technology Coordinator, will use established work procedures and innovative approaches to complete assignments and coordinate projects such as conducting needs assessments; assisting in projects; creating installation plans; analyzing and correcting network malfunctions; serving as system administrator; monitoring or enhancing operating environments; maintaining a reliable, consistent, and efficient technology infrastructure, operating systems, and processes for supporting the instructional and operational technology needs of the district. Description of Responsibilities
* Provides technology support to staff including: Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of district technology equipment and software.

* Assists with planning upgrades and services as well as in the development of goals, policies, and procedures for the future use of network systems.

Required Qualifications

* Experience with VLANs, routing, firewalls, and subnetting required.

Overview:
SupportSpecialists at Rod's House focus on providing a safe and stable environment for young adults to develop the skills needed to thrive independently. SupportSpecialists assist young adults (ages 18-24) experiencing homelessness and help guide them from temporary shelter to permanent housing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Relationship Building and Problem Solving
Engage with young adults to create a safe and supportive environment
Collaborate with case managers and program managers to meet needs
Connect young adults to community and on-site resources
Respond to and manage verbal, physical, or emotional conflicts
Prevent and de-escalate challenging situations
Maintain a professional and respectful approach
Safety and Cleanliness
Escort young adults to designated activities and meal times
Assist with housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment
Conduct fire watch with proper documentation
Complete closing duties to prepare sites for operations
Transport linens and order supplies as needed
Data Management
Participate in monthly program outcome reporting
Complete assigned data entry and maintain accurate records
General
Follow, update, and maintain standard operating procedures
Recommend improvements to policies and procedures
Provide general assistance as directed
Required or Preferred Education and/or Experience
At least 1 year experience working directly with young adults (ages 18-24) experiencing homelessness, OR 2 years of social services education (required)

Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma (preferred)
Knowledge in human services, social work, education, or related field (preferred)
