RCP Student Tech
Department: Respiratory Therapy
Reports to: Director/Designated Manager
Provides quality care that is dependent on physician order or directed by the Respiratory Care Practitioner. Performs respiratory procedures based on professional judgment in response to individualized patient needs. Promotes restorative health and/or supportive care using the cardiopulmonary process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate respiratory care.

Essential Skill Competencies

Assists the Respiratory Care Practitioner in cardiorespiratory arrests
Minimum Requirements: Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) Student Tech is a student that is currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care Program and continuing education toward respiratory licensure. The student must be in their second year and certified in BLS.
