Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

The Mitigation Technician is primarily responsible for physically performing the water and storm damage cleanup for properties and providing excellent customer service skills. This is a labor-intensive construction related position that has a rotating on call / response requirement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES for the Mitigation Technician:
* Mitigation Technician cleans and dries out internal/inside areas of damaged property
* Identifies items that are wet with a specialized equipment

• Provide mentorship and training to faculty and students on safe and effective use of broadcast and production equipment.
• Mentor students in current and appropriate broadcast and production techniques, equipment, and real-time production strategies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in broadcast, IP-based workflows, streaming, and media production.

Education and Experience
Required Education and Experience - Time of Hire
High school diploma or equivalent
One year experience in electronic technology, broadcast engineering, computer science, or a related field
One year experience with computer operating systems (Windows, mac OS, Linux)
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Media Production, Engineering Technology, or related field
Demonstrated technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently, make real-time decisions under pressure, and ability to manage multiple projects
Experience with
o Broadcast automation and playout systems,
o Media production networks (Dante, NDI, SMPTE2110, TCP/IP, or other)
o Adobe Audition and Premiere or other non-linear audio and video editing systems
o Streaming platforms and IP-based broadcast systems
o Network infrastructure

Salary Range: $45,000 starting based on experience

Appointment Duration: 12 months
Work Schedule: Full-Time.Numerous evenings and weekends; holiday breaks as needed; Monday-Friday, hours as needed to cover events and facility needs. 8-hour shift when events are not taking place, all other shifts are as long as is needed to cover the needs of events.
