This is a
Computer Field Technician Position
doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position,
you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

The Technical Support division provides inbound phone support for AMA TechTel's diverse line of communication products, monitors critical network functions, and performs repairs and upgrades on computer hardware and software.
As a Level II Technical Support Representative, you will be responsible for monitoring the following products 24 hours a day:
Wireless/VOIP
Hosted Phone System
Fiber
POTS
DSL
You'll also be responsible for reporting any network issues to management within the timeline allotted by company procedures 24 hours a day and escalating as necessary, along with the following:
- Handling calls from residential and commercial customers to resolve any technical issues on all products provided.
- Making follow up courtesy calls once the reported trouble is resolved to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reporting troubles with our partnered service providers after hours and on weekends.
- Having a thorough understanding of all products offered.
- Diagnosing/repairing customer's personal computers that have been brought in for billable labor.
- Learning and understanding the functions of other departments to be able to execute them after hours.
- Monitoring ACD queues and managing talk times to ensure hold times are minimal.
- Communicating with customers and resolving any issues reported via the support email account.
Provisioning / de-provisioning the following services:
Wireless/VOIP
DSL
Email
Dial-up
Hot Spot Users
- Handling account suspends and restores.
- Maintaining monitoring software and making sure all data contained therein is correct and up to date.
- Reports monthly on wireless network capacity. Provide exceptional technical support for all commercial calls to ensure our level of customer service remains unmatched by our competitors.
- Submitting tickets to be worked by our field services and managed services departments.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma, Associates Degree in CIS preferred
Comp Tia A+ certification is preferred
Experience with computer repair, software/hardware preferred
Experience with Microsoft OS
Experience in troubleshooting Outlook and other email applications, including mobile email applications
2 years related IT/Help Desk experience preferred
Must demonstrate computer knowledge with the ability to learn new software
General understanding of Webhosting preferred
Experience with ESI or Shoretel VoIP phones is a plus
Experience in Metaswitch or CSX is a plus
Telecommunications experience is a plus
Skills

The Behavioral Support Professional (BSP) is responsible for working collaboratively as part of a team to provide direct daily care for residents at Boys Ranch. This role ensures the health, safety, and overall well-being of each child in care while delivering compassionate, trauma-informed support.
The BSP provides appropriate supervision of residents, oversees facility upkeep, meal preparation, and the provision of residents' basic needs, including physical, medical, and emotional care. They serve as a positive, empathetic adult presence, offering guidance and supportive learning experiences that help residents build on their strengths, develop solutions, and foster hope for their future.
Working within a Trauma-Informed Care framework, the BSP collaborates with the treatment team to support each resident's individualized goals and, when possible, assists with family reunification or alternative permanency options. Flexibility is required, as the BSP may be assigned to work in other homes at the direction of a supervisor or on-call leader.
The BSP will have onsite shared living arrangements and is required to remain on campus during the entirety of their scheduled shift. This position requires cultural awareness and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of the service population, ensuring that every child is treated with dignity and respect.
This position involves daily interaction with children and adolescents who may display challenging behaviors, including episodes of physical aggression. Because residential programs operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, coverage is required on holidays and during inclement weather. The role requires extended periods of walking and standing, as well as the physical ability to perform approved crisis intervention techniques at all times to ensure safety.

Encourages and supports residents' appropriate interactions with family members, as guided by each resident's plan of service.
Provides crisis intervention for residents, including the use of approved verbal and physical intervention techniques.
Assists with residents' medical care within position limitations. Administers prescribed/approved medications according to physician orders and campus policy, maintains storage, documentation, and communicates medication issues to the child care team promptly.
Assists with job shadowing and on-the-job training for new youth care specialist as assigned, maintaining proper roles and boundaries without assuming a supervisory stance.
Provides transportation for residents to clinic appointments on and off campus, including hospital admissions or other medical facilities when needed.
Welcomes newly admitted residents by providing orientation to the ranch and home, helping them adjust to their new environment.
Demonstrates consistent, appropriate, and professional interaction with residents.

Requirements
