This position is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting district systems including enterprise phones, physical time clocks, security cameras, network cabling, and IDF/MDF environments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Degree or certification in computer technology, networking, or a related field;
* Experience with enterprise phone systems, including physical phone deployment and software configuration;

* Experience with physical time clock systems;
* Valid Georgia driver's license and insurability for district vehicle use;

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Infrastructure & Systems Support
* Install, configure, and maintain the District's GoTo phone system and physical handsets;
* Deploy, configure, and support Tyler Technologies physical time clocks;
* Manage and maintain the District's security camera system, ensuring compliance with policies, security protocols, and legal requirements.
Network & Cabling
* Perform cabling, drop repairs, ID labeling, and cable management;
* Maintain IDF/MDF closets, ensuring organization, equipment upkeep, and accurate documentation;
* Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues in collaboration with the IT team.
Field Support & Documentation
* Provide on-site technical support for installations, deployments, and troubleshooting;
* Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure work, including diagrams, equipment inventory, and service logs;
* Escalate complex issues to the Infrastructure Manager as needed;
Professional Engagement
* Follow district security and data protection standards;
* Support departmental goals through teamwork and effective communication;
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Infrastructure Manager.

SALARY RANGE: Twelve-month position - Competitive salary and excellent benefits package, pay grade 60 in accordance with the DCSS Compensation Guide.

The Senior Project Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of construction projects. The Senior Technician will monitor, observe, and sample construction materials, adhering to industry standards (ASTM, AASHTO) and project specifications. The Senior Technician will work closely with other TTL Project Technicians, project teams, providing accurate data and insights to support project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Monitoring and Testing:
Observe and monitor various construction activities, including subgrade preparation, structural fill placement, proofrolling, footing excavation, reinforcement installation, and concrete/asphalt placement.
Collect samples of fresh concrete and other materials for laboratory testing.
Perform field density tests on soils, aggregates, and asphalt.

This position requires working outside year-round.

Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.

You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.

Minimum Qualifications
* 4+ years of work experience responsible for designing, deploying and operating large-scale networks
* Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP)
* Working knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS) and experience with IPv4 and IPv6
* Experience working in a multi-vendor environment with hands-on experience with networking hardware
