Deliver white glove support to broker partners through the quoting and underwriting process.

Summary
RNDC is looking for a talented and energetic control state sales representative to join our growing team. The control state sales representative is responsible for advancing and securing sales in the market, performs functions to secure new accounts and service the needs of the existing accounts with an assigned territory.
In this role, you will
* Follow established procedures and guidelines to promote and sell the organization's products within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to meet sales targets.
* Pursue sales leads, personally visit existing and new customers, assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services, prepare price quotes, delivery dates and service obligations to meet established revenue targets.
* Develop sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers by working closely with a more experienced sales representative.
* May troubleshoot and handle customer related inquiries.
* May be responsible for merchandising activities as a point of servicing accounts to make room for more product placement including stocking shelves, cleaning shelves, stocking cold boxes and building displays.
* Job duties include working nights and weekends on promotional activities and other account activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Build and manage the division.
Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings.
Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 72 standards and local codes.
Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users.
Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to pricing new Fire Alarm work as needed
Assist with onboarding Alarm Technicians and Required Stock
Price Fire Sprinkler Tenant Improvement work as needed
Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Fire Protection Business.

Qualifications
Experience in a Fire Protection industry.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Technical knowledge of fire alarm, VESDA, clean agent, and control systems
Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and organize work.
Proficient in Microsoft.
Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
