Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Assembling equipment such as: tourniquet, needles, disposable containers for needles, blood collection devices, gauze, cotton, and alcohol on work tray, according to requirements for specified tests or procedures, Performing other responsibilities as required, Work with and draw from a wide range patient cases in a confident manner, Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations, Verifying or recording identity of patient or donor and converses with patient or donor. Maintaining Refrigerator and Freezer temperatures. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment, Comply with legal Phlebotomy regulations, Handle urine analysis, blood testing, Perform a variety of routine blood drawing procedures. Travel to additional sites when needed.
