Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience

- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Set the strategic direction for Customer Service in alignment with Knauf's business objectives and growth plans.

Standardize order processes across businesses and implement continuous improvement to reduce errors and cycle times.

Education:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership & Execution
Partner with the Lead Pastor to translate church vision and strategic priorities into operational plans, timelines, and measurable objectives.
Provide organizational leadership that ensures ministries are resourced, supported, and scalable.
Identify operational risks or barriers and proactively develop solutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Lead Pastor on matters of finances, staffing, facilities, and long-term sustainability.
Financial Management & Stewardship

Risk Management & Compliance
Oversee risk management, including insurance coverage, safety protocols, security policies, and legal compliance.
Ensure the church operates in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Coordinate with legal counsel, insurance providers, and external advisors as needed.
Operational Systems & Administration
Design and improve systems that increase efficiency, clarity, and accountability across the organization.

I. JOB SUMMARY
Lead the Commissioning, Qualification and Validation (CQV), Cleaning, Sterility assurance and Computer System Validation (CSV) teams at a site. Serve as a member on project steering, value stream and quality systems performance teams. Establish operational objectives and systems to drive employee engagement and alignment with other departments. Deliver on site objectives while implementing harmonized engineering systems and processes. Provide leadership support to the other sites and global validation initiatives as needed.

Site Leadership and Strategy
• Provide leadership and direction to Validation team members, driving performance and value creation to the site function operational and strategic plans and tasks
• Ensure adequate resourcing (capacity and capability) to accomplish site and OST objectives. Recommend solutions to alleviate constraints
• Regularly interacts with seniormanagement or executives on multi-department projects and challenges. Able to build coalitions for change.
• Continuously improve the culture of the Validation team and the site
• Represents Validation and Emergent during GMP and other regulatory agency inspections (CDC, OSHA, etc.)
EFV Tactical Operations
• Identify areas to drive down operations costs and improve project delivery efficiency. Develop specific investment strategies to realize these savings
• Hands on troubleshooting and problem solving at the Gemba in support of engineering team members and operations
• Develop and lead small and medium sized continuous improvement projects, remain involved in projects led by staff members
• Direct support to OST head or lead annual OPEX budget for Validation department
Staff and System Development
• Effective delegation and building confidence and competence within direct reports
• Drive engagement in the technical and personal development of the Validation team and members
• Develops strong relationships with partners (QA, Mfg., etc.) and cultivates these with all team members
• Provide effective and collaborative cross functional leadership to facilitate development of the site strategy and delivery of site objectives
• Continuously improve the culture of the Validation team and the site

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
• BS in Engineering, Science, Management, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a biopharmaceutical or related environment in an engineering or quality related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Significant hands on experience and regulatory expectations knowledge with controls, automation and computer system validation.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment, such as bioreactors, centrifuges, CIP skids, autoclaves, parts washers, HVAC systems, building chillers, clean steam generators, WFI generation, storage, and distribution, RODI water system, and Temperature Controlled Units (e.g. refrigerators, freezers, and incubators) is an advantage
• Strong track record of researching industry best practice (ISPE, BPOG, etc.) and partnering with engineering firms and consultants to develop and deliver effective and compliant projects

U.S. Base Pay Ranges and Benefits Information
The estimated annual base salary as a new hire for this position ranges from $129,500 to $156,800. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. Certain roles are eligible for additional incentive compensation, including merit increases, annual bonus, [and/or long-term incentives in the form of stock options.]

St. Mary Parish~Chelsea is seeking applicants to fill our Accounting / Business Manager position. Primary responsibilities include overseeing the general financial activities of the parish. This is a 40 hour per week position, Monday through Friday. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - PARISH
Serves on parish leadership team helping the pastor foster organizational health and fulfill the mission and vision of the parish.
Helps pastor foster stewardship throughout the parish among all parishioners.
Prepare a yearly budget (in consultation with the Pastor and Parish Finance Council), monthly accounting reports, and reports requested by the pastor or the Parish Finance Council.
Manage all banking activities including the accounting and banking of Sunday collections, payables and receivables. Ensure timely payments and deposits.
Manage and prepare all accounting, budgetary, fiscal, and statistical records, with particular attention to annual reports to the Diocese of Lansing and the Parish, along with Quarterly reports to the Parish Staff and Parish Finance Council.
Prepare and administer all payroll functions.
Develop and recommend to the Pastor and other appropriate Parish Staff persons the necessary policies, methods, and procedures needed for carrying out financial, accounting, and other administrative services.
Serve with the Pastor, as the Parish Staff liaison to the Parish Finance Council and periodically report on the condition of the Parish's physical assets, along with the administrative status of the Parish.
Insure the filing of all required Federal, State and Diocesan reports.
Communicate regularly (and/or as needed) to the entire parish our budget, current financial situation, projects and parish needs, capital campaigns, etc.
Monitor and oversee budgetary compliance for all departments.
Research and monitor service contracts, suppliers and vendors for fair pricing and competitive bidding.
Work with the Pastor and oversee the Maintenance Manager in some aspects of the care, maintenance, and replacement of parish buildings and equipment, including the securing of bids, the negotiating of contracts, and the purchasing of supplies and equipment.
Make pertinent capital repairs recommendations to the Parish Finance Council.
Review all arrangements and contracts with outside contractors and keep track of terms.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business. CPA certification preferred, but not required. Experience: Must have experience with accounting software and be fluent in Microsoft Excel and Word. Two years of experience as an administrator or manager is preferred. Require. Must be a practicing Catholic, active in a parish. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and maintain confidentiality. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to maintain confidential information. Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with varying audiences. Physical Demands: While performing duties, employee may have to sit for long periods of time, use hands in repetitive motion tasks, and answer telephone calls. The position also requires some standing, stooping, and bending. Employee is expected to work onsite, Monday through Friday, with infrequent travel throughout the diocese as necessary.
