Responsible for effective e-mail communications and ability to create and maintain basic
documents/records: TYPICAL EXAMPLES: --contact lists --process logs --problem incidence reports --customer information updates - exterior ship orders --inventory, maintenance or other service records--handling standard facilities administration requests
Responsible for recognizing problems with the processes/operations supported. Is responsible for resolving those problems with pre- established and documented solutions. Is responsible for reporting to others those problems that fall outside the scope of established procedures.
Maintains equipment, supplies, data supporting processes or operations. Typical examples includes scheduling routine equipment maintenance, ordering supplies, monitoring inventory, updating data records, and interacting with suppliers.
Applies some technical knowledge in the support of processes or operations TYPICAL EXAMPLES: --understanding basic printer operations to replace toner and pickup rollers, performing trouble shooting by following KB article to resolve end user tickets.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.

Position Overview
+ As a Data Center Technician, you will maintain and optimize operations in a cutting-edge AI data center. This role involves hands-on work with advanced hardware and networking systems, troubleshooting, and scripting to ensure reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability.
+ Perform hardware and network diagnostics, repairs, and root cause analysis.
+ Assemble, install, and maintain equipment.
+ Develop scripts for server and networking hardware updates.
+ Train internal teams and create documentation.
+ Provide technical support and maintain inventory.
+ Occasional travel to other data centers as needed.
Required Skills
+ Data center experience (rack & stack, cabling, troubleshooting)
+ Computer hardware repair and diagnostics
+ Networking experience (Cisco IOS, Juniper JunOS)
+ Scripting (Python, Bash)
+ Associate's degree or equivalent IT experience
Nice-to-Haves:
+ Advanced scripting
+ Linux OS experience
Physical & Schedule Requirements
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations.
+ Comfortable in a 24/7 environment with on-call rotation.
+ 10-hour shifts, day & night (10% differential for nights after training).
+ Weekend work and overtime possible.
Experience Levels:
Level 1 (Entry):
+ Experience: 6 months - 1 year in a data center
+ Skills: Basic cabling experience, familiarity with rack and stack
+ Focus: Physical installation and cable management
Level 2 (Intermediate):
+ Experience: 1 - 3 years
+ Skills: Basic server knowledge, light break-fix experience, racking and stacking
+ Focus: Hardware handling and basic troubleshooting
Level 3 (Advanced):
+ Experience: 3 - 5 years (often includes hyperscale DC exposure)
+ Skills: Strong break-fix experience, good understanding of power systems, some cooling knowledge
+ Focus: Root cause analysis, advanced troubleshooting, power infrastructure awareness
Level 4 (Expert):
+ Experience: 5+ years in hyperscale environments (Meta, AWS, etc.)
+ Skills: Deep knowledge of power systems, GPU clustering, leadership experience preferred
