About the Role
We're hiring field IT technicians who can confidently support a wide range of tech needs for residential and small business customers.
This includes troubleshooting PCs and Macs, resolving network issues, and repairing or configuring printers/scanners - including issues like Canon MF printer network setup or G-series ink absorber error codes (e.g., 1700).
You'll be dispatched to customer sites, work independently, and complete service calls efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on Windows and mac OS systems
Resolve boot errors, OS issues, and login problems
Set up or troubleshoot Wi-Fi and wired internet connections
Replace or upgrade hardware (HDD, RAM, cooling fans, etc.)
Configure or connect printers and scanners (Canon, HP, Brother, etc.)
Address common printer error codes (e.g., ink absorber, paper feed, connectivity)
Perform general maintenance on multifunction printers (MFPs)
Reinstall operating systems using bootable USBs or recovery media
Install remote tools or shortcuts as requested
Communicate clearly with customers and provide basic post-service support
Document service visits and escalate complex issues as needed
Requirements
2+ years of field IT support experience, including computer and printer work
Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands
Knowledge of error code troubleshooting (e.g., Canon code 1700, boot issues, driver conflicts)
Experience with both Windows (10/11) and mac OS troubleshooting
Must have personal tools (bootable USB, screwdriver set, etc.)
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

This Recreation Site Technician position is located at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 4 office in Great Falls, MT. Great Falls offers an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities, with a great trails system for hiking and biking, water recreation, hunting and fishing opportunities, and opportunities to learn and experience the fascinating history of Central Montana. Great Falls is a haven of rich arts, culture, and history and is centrally located to provide ample outdoor opportunities, entertainment, health care, and shopping. Home to nearly 60,000 residents, Great Falls is the third largest city in Montana.
This is a seasonal worker position with an anticipated season lasting Mid-April through October. The work schedule for this position will generally be 9am-6pm Wednesday-Sunday but hours may be flexible. Weekend, evening, and holiday work are required, as these are the peak times for outdoor recreation use. The incumbent will work at river access sites on the Missouri River, a world class fishery, as well as various reservoirs around the region popular with anglers, boaters, and campers. The incumbent will also patrol the Beartooth Wildlife Management Area campgrounds and roads. The incumbent will be expected to work independently, often doing heavy physical labor in adverse weather conditions. Good physical condition is essential. The incumbent will primarily be working from a state issued work truck in remote locations and traveling up to several hundred miles during the day patrolling the region's sites, often without cell phone service. The incumbent should be comfortable driving a 4x4 truck on graveled roads in inclement weather conditions. The incumbent must have the ability to work safely and independently and knowledge of outdoor recreation activities, Montana Fish & Wildlife species, and the ability to navigate using maps and GPS in remote terrain.

Job Duties:
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of Fishing Access Sites across Region 4, which includes 47 sites up to a 2-hour drive from Great Falls, MT, and some limited responsibility at Judith Landing State Park and the Region's Wildlife Management Areas. This work will include completing administrative tasks, providing customer service, resolving conflicts at campgrounds, boat ramps, and recreation sites, advising visitors of rules and regulations, collecting fees and registrations from 15 Fishing Access Site campgrounds, 1 State Park, and 1 Wildlife Management Area, monitoring site safety and resource impacts, completing minor maintenance/janitorial tasks, and assisting with interpretation and education programs as needed. The incumbent will be stationed in Great Falls but will travel daily to Fishing Access Sites across the region. The incumbent may engage in tasks such as hiking trails, rafting on rivers, providing information to the public, collecting fees, resolving conflicts at busy boat ramps, interpreting FWP rules and regulations, and working closely with other staff such as Game Wardens, Biologists, and other Parks and Outdoor Recreation staff. The incumbent will patrol recreation sites, predominantly by vehicle, but sometimes by foot, watercraft, and UTV to ensure rule compliance through information/education and when necessary, assist law enforcement staff with incidents. The incumbent will monitor the sites for hazards and take corrective actions or notify supervisors. Our Network Services team has an exciting opportunity for a Network Specialist I - OSP Construction to join us in our Great Falls, Montana market! In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising outside plant field construction and splicing operations in multiple locations. Depending upon workload you may be required to supervise consulting resources in the engineering and/or construction phase of the projects. You will be expected to work independently with representatives from network operations, associate managers, consultants, design engineers and construction contractors for TDS Telecom Network Services to ensure that the needs of the company are being met. You will be responsible for the implementation of fiber networks while conforming to existing TDS Outside Plant (OSP) guidelines and TDS OSP standards established for the Telecom Network Services. You'll be expected to stay current with National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and ensure our construction is always in compliance with NESC standards. Depending on the area, you may be required to assist in the engineering of the OSP projects. This involves, among other things, creating the labor, material, and overhead project estimates.
As a Network Specialist I - OSP Construction you'll be expected to oversee numerous construction projects, possibly located in multiple locations. You will continually monitor costs and job progress to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget. You'll also be responsible for ongoing communication with various governmental agencies to protect the TDS OSP network from being jeopardized by proposed road improvements and may be required to negotiate with municipalities or other utility companies from a network and a legal perspective for the purchase, lease and/or sale of inner ducts, fiber and/or complete fiber networks.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for the coordination of OSP projects and/or supervision of consultants who are responsible for coordinating outside plant field construction and splicing operations in multiple locations and states. Provide technical support for special request projects such as major road moves or potential on-net builds. The successful candidate must work with Finance to ensure proper accounting of facilities placed and interact with the legal department to ensure that the company is not at risk in any asset transfers. If needed, assist in the engineering phase of projects. This involves creating labor, material, and overheads project cost estimates.
* Provide audits of OSP projects and coach consultants and/or contractors to ensure accuracy and consistency. The audits will ensure compliance with NESC standards and current TDS OSP standards.
* Review all required reports from field personnel and contractor invoicing for accuracy. Manage construction projects by reviewing quality of work, clean up resolution, proper maintenance of project documentation and continual review of project progress.
* Ensure that the TDS OSP group complies with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines and other departments such as Network Operations, Network Planning, Rights-of-Way and Contract Administration. Position: Support Specialist Job Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Program Manager
Supervises: Direct supervision of male and female residents and community referrals including Jail Alternative (JA), Intensive Supervision Program (ISP), and other programs as directed by the sentencing court or Parole and Probation system.
Position Scope: Up to 250 participants
Position Summary:
The Great Falls Pre-Release Center is a non-profit Community Corrections worksite consisting of three Counseling campuses. The campuses are minimum security and residential in nature, housing closely screened and selected for program acceptance, adult male and female felon offenders during their structured transition program for re-entry into the community. The Centers also operate a Jail Alternative program for adult male/female clients and a Community Service program involving adjudicated males and females.
Provide residents and Community referrals (as applicable) with assistance which may satisfactorily prepare them for work or eventual discharge from the Center.
Maintain status as a certified notary public. Serve on occasion as a point of referral for City, Justice, District, Federal courts and other agencies to place individuals who must perform Community Service or serve a Jail Alternative sentence.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Resident Service Program
1. Assist residents in obtaining ID cards such as Social Security Card, valid driver's license or other legal documentation as necessary for employment. Assist with legal papers such as court documentation, child support or establishing necessary credentials for obtaining rental property or complying with court ordered community service.
Enhanced Supervision Program (ESP)
1. Conduct intake and enroll clients into Job Development Program as required by their Probation and Parole Officer and prepare them for appropriate Job Search and monitor progress.
2. Maintain professional working relationship with residents Probation and Parole Officer throughout referral time in program. Identify established pass/fail parameters and report to resident's Parole and Probation Officer any infractions while assigned to the program.
3. Meet with assigned clientele to ensure proper Breath Analysis, Urinalysis, and scheduled meetings are accomplished according to established procedures. Monitor and clearly document all interaction between the Center and the individual with the referral agency.
Community Service Program
1. Maintain professional relationship with City, Justice and District Courts, State Probation and Parole Office, Federal Probation Office, Intensive Supervision officers, other referring agencies and Great Falls Pre-Release Services, Inc.
2. Conduct intake interview with referred clientele. Determine eligibility for clientele and arrange placement in a non-profit agency. Monitor and clearly document all interaction between the Center and the individual with the placement location.
3. Administratively supervise client in completion of Community Service work. Prepare correspondence to referring agencies as needed to reflect compliance or non-compliance of Community Service. Maintain confidentiality of clients' personal information and status.
4. Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports as required. Collect and account for money as necessary to pay for required fees.
Jail Alternative Program (Includes Electronic Monitoring Program)
1. Perform intake of J.A.'s as necessary. Schedule individuals to complete their J.A. sentence. Assist in maintaining a schedule of all personnel assigned to the JA program including entry and completion dates.
2. Assist in the preparation of status reports as required. Collect and account for funds as required and assist in insuring all money's are paid or billed to appropriate agencies.
3. Go into referrals homes and install/remove electronic monitoring equipment. Prepare correspondence to referring agencies as needed to reflect compliance or non-compliance of sentence.
Other
1. Fill in for Community Service Coordinator in that individual's absence.
2. Perform additional duties as requested or assigned.
3. Provide regular progress reports for Center Board of Directors.

The Transition Center is designed as a structured pre-release program for adult male and female offenders who are within 24 months of parole eligibility or one year of discharge date. It allows residents participating in the program to re-integrate into the community while learning necessary life skills to maintain a crime-free lifestyle. The Center allows residents a period of time to establish employment and/or training, establish budgeting and money management skills, begin a savings plan, find housing and participate in counseling relevant to specific areas to aid in their transition into the community.
The Transition Center has a five-phase program beginning at the orientation level. Each phase has a minimum time frame of participation with graduated levels of responsibility. The resident assumes his/her own case goals as they progress through the program.
The Transition Center opened its doors as a male pre-release facility in March of 1984. At that time, the Center utilized the main floor for office space, kitchen and dining facilities, and a lounge area. the upper floor was used for living quarters. In 1990 the basement of the original facility was remodeled into office space, a conference room, TV room, hobby room and additional restroom facilities. In 1993 the Center undertook a major expansion which more than doubled the capacity and usable space in the Center. A women's program was added in October of 1996 with the purchase and renovation of building adjacent to the existing facility. In 1997 an expansion project involving the women's facility provided for an increase in service rooms and greater flexibility in programming. In 1998 the men's facility added to the wing completed in 1993 by extending that area to the South and increasing the Center by another 7500 square feet.
Throughout the years, the Transition Center has taken pride in its visual improvements to the building and grounds. Landscaping efforts are ongoing as we endeavor to become an appealing addition to the neighborhood.

Monitors and exercises independent judgment in the safe, reliable, and economic operation of generation assets based on guidelines provided by North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Operating Policies, Regional Council Policies and Operating Procedures, and Federal Energy Regulatory Commissions (FERC) Standards of Conduct for normal, emergency and restoration conditions.
Responsible for the coordination with third-party energy trading groups and as directed by third party trading groups, resubmittal of price/quantity pairs due to unplanned unit outages.

During both normal and emergency operating conditions, has the authority to take or direct timely and appropriate real-time actions. Has authority to curtail firm schedules to prevent potential NERC compliance violations due to unplanned outages. All these actions are performed without need to obtain approval from the company's senior management.
* (15%) Support the operations and maintenance activities by actively managing plant availability and reliability in conjunction with the Site Operations Managers and the Environmental team. Accommodate the Company's environmental protection activities in conjunction with managing Control Performance Standards. Position Overview: The Peer Support Specialist provides community-based peer support services that are designed to promote the recovery, empowerment, and community integration of individuals who have severe and chronic behavioral health challenges. Will facilitate opportunities for individuals receiving service to direct their own recovery and advocacy process, by teaching and supporting individuals. Job Duties:
Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to help consumers to develop a personal recovery plan and identify opportunities to provide support as clients work to achieve their recovery goals.
Listens and encourages clients to talk about their lives, struggles and goals
Promotes client self-determination and decision-making.
Offers encouragement, hope and reassurance to clients who are developing the necessary skills for integration into the community.
Models competency in recovery and maintaining ongoing wellness.
Must complete and pass medication training test within initial probation period.
Liaison with other members of the treatment team to develop an effective support system for the consumer.
Monitors and supports consumers through regular visits and reports progress or concerns to the treatment team.
Helps clients set and achieve meaningful goals in the areas of mental health recovery, education, daily living skills, substance use, relationships, productivity, and leisure.
Assumes responsibility for the workload assigned, working independently and cooperatively with the team.
Acts as an advocate for mental health issues in the Many Rivers region.
Maintains records, reports, and statistics necessary for program functioning and evaluation, completes client notes in accordance with Many Rivers policy.
Co-operates and participates in evaluation and research.
Participates in program meetings, employee education and orientation, which will include a close-working relationship with multi-disciplinary team.
Comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and mandatory guidelines.
Must disclose personal recovery journey with clients.
Responds to emergency health hazards as defined by the Medical Director or Supervisor.
Part-Time at 20 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
GED or High School diploma required.
1-2 years' experience in dealing with mental illness issues and related mental health services.
Must have a personal recovery experience for mental health and/or substance use.
Must be in recovery for 2 years.
Without incarceration, hospitalization, or inpatient admission exceeding 72 hours in the last 2 years.
Must have some knowledge and experience of severe mental illness and treatment, and its impact on consumer/survivors and their families.
Computer skills are preferred.
Must obtain Certification within 1 month of hired date.
Hourly Wage: $15.00 + DOE

Our Network Services team has an exciting opportunity for a Network Specialist - OSP Construction to join us in our Great Falls, Montana market! In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising outside plant field construction and splicing operations in multiple locations. Depending upon workload you may be required to supervise consulting resources in the engineering and/or construction phase of the projects. You will be expected to work independently with representatives from network operations, associate managers, consultants, design engineers and construction contractors for TDS Telecom Network Services to ensure that the needs of the company are being met. You will be responsible for the implementation of fiber networks while conforming to existing TDS Outside Plant (OSP) guidelines and TDS OSP standards established for the Telecom Network Services. You'll be expected to stay current with National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and ensure our construction is always in compliance with NESC standards. Depending on the area, you may be required to assist in the engineering of the OSP projects. This involves, among other things, creating the labor, material, and overhead project
estimates.
As a Network Specialist - OSP Construction you'll be expected to oversee numerous construction projects, possibly located in multiple locations. You will continually monitor costs and job progress to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget. You'll also be responsible for ongoing communication with various governmental agencies to protect the TDS OSP network from being jeopardized by proposed road improvements and may be required to negotiate with municipalities or other utility companies from a network and a legal perspective for the purchase, lease and/or sale of inner ducts, fiber and/or complete fiber networks.
The ideal candidate will reside within 30 miles of Great Falls, Montana in order to be available for in-market support and travel.
This position can be hired at either a Network Specialist - OSP Construction (2025-28431) or Network Specialist I - OSP Construction (2025-28433) level depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate. Different job postings exist for each of these positions. Please reference each job posting for the minimum qualifications required and submit an application for each level that you are both interested in and qualified for.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the coordination of OSP projects and/or supervision of consultants who are responsible for coordinating outside plant field construction and splicing operations in multiple locations and states. Provide technical support for special request projects such as major road moves or potential on-net builds. The successful candidate must work with Finance to ensure proper accounting of facilities placed and interact with the legal department to ensure that the company is not at risk in any asset transfers. If needed, assist in the engineering phase of projects. This involves creating labor, material, and overheads project cost estimates.
Provide audits of OSP projects and coach consultants and/or contractors to ensure accuracy and consistency. The audits will ensure compliance with NESC standards and current TDS OSP standards.
Review all required reports from field personnel and contractor invoicing for accuracy. Manage construction projects by reviewing quality of work, clean up resolution, proper maintenance of
project documentation and continual review of project progress.
Ensure that the TDS OSP group complies with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines and other departments such as Network Operations, Network Planning, Rights-of-Way and Contract Administration. This position requires the conducting of pre-staking, pre-bid and pre-construction meetings as required. The successful candidate must verify that proper right-of-way, easements, and permits
are obtained and designs for proper cable sizing and facility routing. Making sure that proper close.
Verify that all documentation required to complete projects successfully, including bid jobs, build orders, job start agreements, VMOPs and close out documentation is complete.
Adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment to new GIS based construction tracking methods, new construction methods and rapidly changing architecture types.

Job Description
Great Falls Pre-Release Services, Inc.
Position: Support Specialist Job Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Program Manager
Supervises: Direct supervision of male and female residents and community referrals including Jail Alternative (JA), Intensive Supervision Program (ISP), and other programs as directed by the sentencing court or Parole and Probation system.
Position Scope: Up to 250 participants
Position Summary:
The Great Falls Pre-Release Center is a non-profit Community Corrections worksite consisting of three Counseling campuses. The campuses are minimum security and residential in nature, housing closely screened and selected for program acceptance, adult male and female felon offenders during their structured transition program for re-entry into the community. The Centers also operate a Jail Alternative program for adult male/female clients and a Community Service program involving adjudicated males and females.
Provide residents and Community referrals (as applicable) with assistance which may satisfactorily prepare them for work or eventual discharge from the Center.
Maintain status as a certified notary public. Serve on occasion as a point of referral for City, Justice, District, Federal courts and other agencies to place individuals who must perform Community Service or serve a Jail Alternative sentence.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Resident Service Program
1. Assist residents in obtaining ID cards such as Social Security Card, valid drivers license or other legal documentation as necessary for employment. Assist with legal papers such as court documentation, child support or establishing necessary credentials for obtaining rental property or complying with court ordered community service.
Enhanced Supervision Program (ESP)
1. Conduct intake and enroll clients into Job Development Program as required by their Probation and Parole Officer and prepare them for appropriate Job Search and monitor progress.
2. Maintain professional working relationship with residents Probation and Parole Officer throughout referral time in program. Identify established pass/fail parameters and report to residents Parole and Probation Officer any infractions while assigned to the program.
3. Meet with assigned clientele to ensure proper Breath Analysis, Urinalysis, and scheduled meetings are accomplished according to established procedures. Monitor and clearly document all interaction between the Center and the individual with the referral agency.
Community Service Program
1. Maintain professional relationship with City, Justice and District Courts, State Probation and Parole Office, Federal Probation Office, Intensive Supervision officers, other referring agencies and Great Falls Pre-Release Services, Inc.
2. Conduct intake interview with referred clientele. Determine eligibility for clientele and arrange placement in a non-profit agency. Monitor and clearly document all interaction between the Center and the individual with the placement location.
3. Administratively supervise client in completion of Community Service work. Prepare correspondence to referring agencies as needed to reflect compliance or non-compliance of Community Service. Maintain confidentiality of clients' personal information and status.
4. Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports as required. Collect and account for money as necessary to pay for required fees.
Jail Alternative Program (Includes Electronic Monitoring Program)
1. Perform intake of J.A.s as necessary. Schedule individuals to complete their J.A. sentence. Assist in maintaining a schedule of all personnel assigned to the JA program including entry and completion dates.
2. Assist in the preparation of status reports as required. Collect and account for funds as required and assist in insuring all moneys are paid or billed to appropriate agencies.
3. Go into referrals homes and install/remove electronic monitoring equipment. Prepare correspondence to referring agencies as needed to reflect compliance or non-compliance of sentence.
Other
1. Fill in for Community Service Coordinator in that individuals absence.
2. Perform additional duties as requested or assigned.
3. Provide regular progress reports for Center Board of Directors.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School graduate.
Three years experience in work involving general human services programs for the adult public or two years experience in work involving human services programs for adult felons is preferred.
Skills in organization and time management activities.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with local, state and federal officials and other community-based agencies.
Effective verbal and written communication.
