The Sales Representative position at Grasshopper Lawns is responsible for initiating and responding to inquiries from prospects and customers on all accounts. This position carries the distinction of being the primary source for adding new customers to our portfolio, and requires an ability to understand turf, weed, shrub, tree and property conditions as they are impacted by insects, weather, nature, neglect or fungus damage et al.
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
Sell rounds of lawn care based on time of year and customer request via telephone, online sales, auto-dialer system and face-to-face.
Provide electronic quotes to prospective and current customers on special promotions and available services.
Call or meet in person with new customers to explain services they purchased and get signatures to begin services. Train customers on dos and don'ts prior to technician arriving on property.
Explain timelines and methods by which products are spread, sprayed or otherwise applied to property.
Explain the billing process, rounds and service standard so customers understand what the lawn technician will do while at the property.
Visit prospect property to identify needs and suggest various service options. Note property landmarks, size, and special delivery issues then suggest service solutions from approved menu of service offerings. Take measurements and describe the property and services to be performed. Complete paperwork. Discuss customer concerns and survey property.
Contact non-committed customers by phone to touch base when sales are not closed then identify issues to attempt to close sale. Build and maintain customer relationships including answering any questions and explaining services in an effort to build rapport and educate the customer on our products and services.
From time to time or as business needs dictate the Sales Representative may be required to perform as a Lawn Care Technician insofar as performing lawn care services.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We have a unique opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic individual interested in accelerating their career through a dynamic Sales Consultant program. In this role, you will respond to inbound calls with broker inquiries and answer questions in a variety of areas: product features, literature requests, and hypothetical illustrations as well as participate in extensive training and developmental experiences to help enhance your personal and professional growth. Recent College Graduates are encouraged to apply, this is a great opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in sales.
This position is based in our Wayne, PA office.
Provide product and client cases sales support
Explain in detail the features, benefits, & advantages of our retirement products
Provide personalized, web-based hypothetical illustrations
Ensure advisors have proper marketing materials
Document calls within Salesforce.com for tracking purposes
Act as liaison between home office and wholesalers in field
Assist in the development process of new employees
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication and organization skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Interest in financial services, global markets, and economics
Eagerness to learn, solid work ethic, and motivation to succeed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
Display willingness to quickly learn product lines, procedures, and workflows
Successfully complete Resident Life License and Series 7 & Series 63 within 120 days of employment
Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office.
Global Atlantic's base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic's total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.
The base salary for this role is $58,000 plus bonus
